Our Level Up program is now in full swing and it couldn’t be going any better. We have participants from two schools in the Peel; Fletchers Meadow PS and St. Edmund Camponi with a total of 40 students participating. We run 1-hour workshops where students learn soft skills based on our new social-emotional learning framework,  as well as dynamic fitness exercises taught by certified fitness coach Andrew Tyson.

Coach Tyson teaches fundamental skills of Boxing, Kickboxing, Functional Patterns, and Wrestling in a 30-40 min workout to level up the fitness of the students. We combine these two processes, teaching soft skills and dynamic fitness classes, to level up the resilience of these students and so far we are seeing great results. The students love it and the teachers have given us positive feedback. Hearing the students talk about this program is very uplifting to us and it reassures us that we are onto something big.

We are so happy with the feedback and the program and can’t wait till 2021 when we start back up and take on kickboxing, stretching & wrestling!

A big thank you to Angela Curic at St. Edmund Camponi & Josh Hazard at Fletcher’s Meadow PS for letting us into their classrooms.
