Off Season Training

For every sport out there, almost all of them have an ending. During that period of not training would be considered off season. During the off season athletes are free from many things like, practices/training and competitions. Training in the off season can be very beneficial and is highly recommended. 



Why is off season training important?

Off season training allows athletes to stay active during that period of time. It helps athletes develop and learn to gain focus all year around. It can also help athletes improve their physical ability in new ways.


Ways to keep active during the off season:

  • Get a membership at local gym

  • Go swimming 

  • Go for frequent walks

  • Bike riding etc.


The 2 most important things to remember during the off season is to stay fit and have fun while doing so. Off season training is a great way to stay in shape. It doesn't matter what your way of staying in shape is. As long as you're doing something and having fun, it doesn't matter!
