We Are The Saroya Twins!!

Tarleen & Tarnpreet Saroya

HELLO EVERYONE!

We are extremely excited to be working with Beat The Streets Toronto as Social Media Community Managers with our friend Christelle. We are new to the team and very happy to be here. Here at BTST, we are very thrilled to promote upcoming programs, that are very beneficial to the community which you should definitely be on the lookout for.

THANK YOU CANADA SUMMER JOBS

We would like to say a special thanks to Canada Summer Jobs for this opportunity and for funding the work we will be completing over the course of this summer. This job will grant us the opportunity to obtain and develop our work experience, our leadership skills, teamwork skills & creativity skills. We greatly appreciate this opportunity; this couldn’t be possible without Canada Summer Jobs! The funding they provide allows us to help raise awareness to steer individuals into fun, new, and up-and-coming programs.

GET TO KNOW US

Our names are Tarleen and Tarnpreet Saroya we are going to be grade 11 students at Mayfield Secondary School this September. We are proud to say that we are the Mayfield women's wrestling team captains and student coaches. We have been wrestling with Beat The Streets for 4 years since 2016 and have been wrestling for 7 years altogether. Our first encounter with BTS was back in September 2016. Over the four years that we have been wrestling with Beat The Streets, it has provided us with a great deal of opportunities such as travelling, competing, and meeting new individuals. We were introduced to Beat The Streets Toronto by competing at a tournament in Columbus, Ohio that Beat The Streets also took part in. We exchanged information and showed up to our very first BTS practice and we have since attended every practice rain or shine. Through our years of wrestling at BTST, our wins & losses, our early morning practices, our intense live wrestling sessions and our drills of the fundamentals over and over again, have truly molded us into who we are today.
