About Me!

Hi! My name is Dominique Schifano but everyone calls me Nikki so feel free to call me that as well! I am a third-year Justice Studies student at the University of Guelph-Humber. This is my first time with Beat the Streets and I am beyond excited to start my placement with the organization as a volunteer program coordinator. When I am out of university I am hoping to pursue a career with at-risk kids. I have always been a very outgoing person but I can tend to be shy at first but I'll warm up fast. I have a background in kids and dance which will be very beneficial for myself and the youth. Once you get to know me you will find that I take a very big interest in dogs, and true crime documentaries as well as I thoroughly enjoy helping others. I am very thankful that I can be a part of Beat the Streets as they do amazing things for youth! I am looking forward to working with the other volunteers as well as the kids!
