Blog 4- 5 Healthy dinner recipes


This is blog number 4! Here are 4 delicious and healthy recipes that you can make in a time crunch. I wanted to be inclusive and have different recipes for different diet restrictions. I choose these recipes because they are super tasty and easy to make. Be safe in the kitchen and enjoy!


Keto Cabbage Sliders 


Ingredients-

 

  •   Head of cabbage (Make 4 cabbage buns)

  •  Cheese slices 

  •  1 Sliced Tomato 

  •  1 sliced opinión

  •  4 lettuce leaves

  •  Ketchup (optional)

  •  Maynossie (optional)

  •  Mustard (optional)

  • 1 pound of ground lean beef

  • 1 large egg

  • ¼ minced onion

  • 2 cloves of garlic peeled and minced

  • 1/2 of a teaspoon salt

  • 1/4 of a teaspoon pepper

  • 1/4 of a teaspoon onion powder

  • 1/4 of a teaspoon garlic powder

  • 1/4 of a teaspoon pepper Rica powder

    

          Steps


Step 1:Mix ground beef, egg, onion and all seasonings. Create 4 patties, a little bigger than your cabbage buns.


Step 2: Put your patties on the grill and cook for 4 minutes on each side. Let both sides caramelize and do the cut test to make sure there’s no longer pink inside. When patties are almost done cooking apply your slices of cheese.


Step 3: Wash and dry your cabbage and apply the condiments that you prefer along with the pattie and vegetables.

Vegetarian Tofu Tacos 


Ingredients


  • 2 tablespoons virgin olive oil

  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce

  • 1 teaspoon chilli powder

  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder

  • 1 teaspoon ground cumin

  • Half a teaspoon onion powder

  • 14 ounces block extra firm tofu

  • Preferred taco  shells (soft or hard)

             Steps


Step 1: In a large bowl combine together all your seasonings. With your hand crumble the pressed out tofu (get all the moisture out) into fine ground beef-like pieces. Combined well.


Step 2: In a skillet heat your olive oil and add the tofu crumbles. Cook to your liking and continuously stir. The tofu should be dry, there should be no liquid.


Step 3: spread out the tofu in your skillet, place it in your oven on high broil for about four minutes. Remove and stir and put back into the oven for another 4 minutes, repeat this process until the tofu is crispy to your liking. make sure to keep a close eye on your tofu, things burn easily on broil.


Step 4: Personalize your tacos with the toppings you like salsa, sour cream, avocado, onion, tomato, lettuce, canned beans.

Pescaartian Garlic Butter Salmon and Roasted Potatoes 


  • 1 1/2 pounds baby potatoes, quartered 

  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

  • 1/2 of a cup salted butter

  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

  • 2 tablespoons garlic, minced

  • have a teaspoon each: Drive time, black pepper

  • 4 teaspoons lemon juice

  • 2 tablespoons parsley, minced

  • 4 salmon fillets


Steps 

 

Step 1:  In a large bowl add the oil, butter and seasonings. Then add your potatoes and mix thoroughly. Get a large sheet pan and spread the potatoes out. Then roast at 425•F for 20 minutes until crispy.


Step 2: Add butter, Lemon, parsley and seasonings and stir. Grab a sheet pan and place the salmon fillets in the middle. Pat to make sure the filliets are dry and place butter seasoning mixture on top. Put it in the oven for 10 minutes use a heat thermometer to make sure it’s at least 145•F. Broil if needed for one minute to add colour.

Teriyaki chicken and grilled asparagus 


     Ingredients 


  • 1 pound boneless chicken thigh cut into 1 1/2 inch pieces

  • 1 tablespoon cooking oil

  • 1/4 of a cup soy sauce

  • 3 tablespoons brown sugar 3 tablespoons rice wine vinegar

  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil

  • 3 garlic cloves minced

  • One green onion then

  • 1 teaspoon cornstarch

  • One bunch of thin asparagus

  • 1 teaspoon salt

  •  1/2 of a teaspoon black pepper

  • 1 tablespoon Lemon juice

 

Steps 


Step 1: In a mixing bowl add your olive oil and seasonings. Place asparagus on a baking sheet and add your seasoning mixture. Lay the asparagus flat and bake for 13 minutes at 425°F


Step 2: In a large pan, stir fry the chicken on medium heat until crispy and brown


Step 3: In a small bowl mix together the soy sauce, sugar, vinegar and sesame oil. Set the mixture to the side.


Step 4: On Medium heat add the soy sauce mixture and the crispy chicken to the pan and sauté lightly. Allow all the flavours to blend and mix, add cornstarch if needed to thicken the sauce.
